 St. Christopher Academy was founded in 1982 and has a successful history of serving students with learning differences and students who are academically at risk.  We know that small class size, a modified curriculum, close monitoring of student’s progress, and family involvement are key assets to a student’s academic success, personal well-being, and positive self image. 

St. Christopher Academy (SCA) has proven that confidence is the generator of performance.  SCA helps students raise their expectations and then challenge the students to exceed them.   Students have the opportunity to take part in all of the extra curricular activities, clubs and “no-cut” athletics that Seattle Lutheran High School offers.  St. Christopher Academy students take their core academic classes through our special education teachers and their elective classes through Seattle Lutheran High School.  This is a win-win situation for our students. St. Christopher Academy is proud to be part of Seattle Lutheran High School’s unique educational environment. 

St. Christopher Academy operates as a private school within Seattle Lutheran High School.  Our closely integrated programs provide a full high school student experience, while providing a variety of special and important services to students and their families.  Our special education program is proven successful for over 25 years!  Many of our students go on to college, technical schools, community college and four year universities as well as the military and into the work place.  We pride ourselves in preparing these young people to be contributing members of our society.
